PULL UP or PULL DOWN Seat Belts
Pull Up or Pull Down refers to the lap belts only
(not the shoulder harnesses)

Pull Down - You tighten the belts by pulling away from the buckle

Pull Up - You tighten the belts by pulling towards the buckle.

In the past most seat belts were of the PULL DOWN style but now a lot of handlers prefer the PULL UP style as it is easier to adjust the belts with the driver in the car.

With IMPACT SEAT BELTS you can further specify PULL UP on both sides or PULL UP on one side only.
The PULL UP on the right side only is the most popular as the handler just has to reach across the driver and pull up on the right side belt to adjust (if you order PULL UP with no specification this is what they will ship).

Our Latch & Link restraint system is the result of years of experience and testing by Bill Simpson. The basis of our restraints is our exclusive T7 Webbing, designed specifically for motorsports. This laterally-ribbed webbing works perfectly with our hardware and adjusters to prevent webbing creep and far exceeds strength requirements for all forms of racing. All belt mounting ends are wrap-around and anchor hardware (bolt-in, clip-in or eyebolts) can be added as needed. Our belt centering system on the pull-ends keeps webbing centered in the adjusters after tightening for proper belt/hardware alignment for maximum effectiveness.
Our belts also come with our new and improved Quick Adjuster hardware.
